Why Choose Korea Ever-Power

From metallurgy to dispatch — here is what sets our supply chain apart from standard market alternatives.

⚙️

Complete Range Under One Roof

From the 420 at 0.57 kg/m to the 530-SX at 43.0 kN — every pitch, seal type, and bush construction available. No need to split sourcing across multiple suppliers. The drive chain for motorcycle applications you need, all from one production source.

🔬

Carburized Alloy Steel Pins

Pins undergo gas carburizing at tightly controlled temperatures, producing a hard outer layer over a ductile core. This directly resists the pin-bushing wear that causes chain elongation — the primary reason a chain gets replaced. Heat-treated plates resist fatigue under cyclic load.

100% Batch Tensile Testing

Every production batch is tensile-tested to verify break-load against published figures before dispatch. Dimensional verification against JIS B 1801 reference gauges and articulation inspection for stiff links are also standard. Test records are traceable to batch reference numbers.

📦

3–7 Day Dispatch from Stock

High-demand sizes — 428, 428H, 520, 520H-O, 525H, 530H, and their sealed variants — are physically in warehouse stock. No production lead time for standard orders. Custom link counts are cut on request with confirmed lead times.

💰

Direct Factory Pricing

Orders go from production to your workshop without intermediate distributor margins. Both individual retail and wholesale workshop accounts are supported. No minimum order quantity — you order what you need, at factory-direct pricing regardless of volume.

Representative Specifications — Across All Series

Pitch is the single most critical dimension — it must match both front and rear sprockets exactly. The inner width and roller diameter determine which sprocket the chain is compatible with within a given pitch family. Below is a cross-section of our range, from entry-level to the highest-spec sealed series.

Tensile strength values are tested break loads. Apply an appropriate safety factor based on engine output and riding conditions when selecting.

Where Our Chains Run

Three rider profiles, three distinct sets of requirements — each matched to a chain specification built around the actual load, environment, and maintenance reality involved.

🛵 Street & Daily Commuters

Scooters, delivery fleets, and 125–250cc street bikes accumulate mileage through sheer daily volume rather than shock loading. A standard 420 or 428 motorcycle drive chain handles this role efficiently — at 15.6–17.8 kN, both carry a comfortable safety factor over the working loads of small-displacement engines.

Fleet operators benefit from consistent batch dimensional quality across repeat orders — every machine in a delivery fleet maintains identical chain behaviour, simplifying scheduled maintenance intervals. A 428 chain cleaned and lubricated every 500 km on paved roads delivers reliable service at the lowest cost per kilometre in the class.

Recommended: 420 · 428 · 428H
420 428 motorcycle chain application street commuting and urban delivery use

🏁 Off-Road & Motocross

Off-road riding combines shock loads from jump landings and hard acceleration on loose terrain with continuous mud and water exposure. Standard non-sealed chains lose lubricant at the pin-bushing joint within a single riding session under these conditions — a problem that sealed chains solve by design.

Our 520MX and motocross series use solid-bore bushings that maintain cylindrical geometry under repeated impact loads — a curled bushing gradually deforms at the seam under sustained shock loading, accelerating pin wear. For enduro and trail use where lubrication intervals are realistically extended, O-ring or X-ring sealed chains in the 428 or 520 pitch retain internal grease regardless of submersion.

Recommended: 520MX · 520PLUS · 428H-O · 520H-X

🏖️ High-Performance & Touring

Large-displacement touring machines and cruisers require the wider roller contact of a 530-series motorcycle chain and sprocket combination to distribute torque across the sprocket tooth face at sustained highway speed under load. A 530-SX at 43.0 kN provides the highest tensile strength in the standard roller chain range.

The triple-lip Super X-ring seal extends lubrication intervals to 1,000–1,500 km — practical for riders covering 15,000+ km per year who prefer to minimise service stops. For sport tourers where rotating mass matters, the 520H-X at 34.0 kN with 1.21 kg/m gives the best strength-to-weight ratio in the sealed 520 family.

Frequently Asked Questions

Procurement-focused questions from buyers across Korea and the Asia-Pacific region.

What type of chain is used in motorcycles, and how do I read the size code?
Most modern motorcycles use roller-type drive chains. The size code stamped on the outer plate — for example "428" — encodes the pitch and width. The first digit or two represent the pitch in eighths of an inch: 4 = 1/2 inch (12.70 mm), 5 = 5/8 inch (15.875 mm). The remaining digits indicate the inner width family (e.g., 20, 25, 28, 30). Always confirm this number from the existing chain before ordering a replacement.
What is the difference between O-ring, X-ring, and Super X-ring chains?
All three are sealed chains that retain factory grease at each pin-bushing joint. The O-ring uses a circular cross-section seal with one sealing contact surface per side. The X-ring uses a dual-lip design with two contact surfaces per side — reducing friction by roughly 20% while improving sealing. The Super X-ring adds a third lip for maximum seal integrity and the longest lubrication intervals of the three types.
How often should a motorcycle chain be lubricated?
For standard non-sealed chains: every 400–600 km on paved roads, and after every wet or dusty ride. O-ring chains: every 600–1,000 km. X-ring chains: every 800–1,200 km. Super X-ring chains: every 1,000–1,500 km. Always lube after washing the bike — water displaces lubricant from external surfaces. Apply to the inner roller faces, not just the outer plates.
When should I replace a motorcycle chain instead of just adjusting the slack?
Replace when 20 consecutive links exceed the nominal pitch distance by 3% or more. For 15.875 mm pitch chains, the 20-link nominal is 317.5 mm — replace when measured length reaches 327 mm or more. Also replace if the chain can be pulled away from the rear sprocket enough to expose more than half a tooth root, or if you can feel any stiff links when flexing the chain laterally.
Do I need to replace sprockets when I replace the chain?
In most cases, yes. Sprocket teeth develop hook-shaped profiles after heavy use — fitting a new chain on worn sprockets will accelerate the new chain's wear rate significantly and shorten its service life. The front sprocket, being smaller, typically wears faster. Inspect both sprockets each time you lube the chain, and plan to replace all three components together as a matched set.
What is the minimum order quantity for motorcycle chains?
There is no enforced minimum for standard stocked sizes. Individual units are accepted. Workshop accounts and wholesale buyers can access tiered pricing from defined batch quantities — contact us with the chain series and required quantity to receive pricing. Mixed-specification orders in a single shipment are handled as standard.
Can I order chains in mixed sizes in one shipment?
Yes. Mixed-specification orders are standard — workshop buyers often order 428, 520, and 530 variants in the same shipment. Specify the chain series, link count, and quantity for each line item when enquiring. We consolidate into one shipment with individual labelling per specification.
Are your chains compatible with Japanese and Korean OEM sprockets?
Yes. All our motorcycle chains are dimensioned to JIS B 1801 standards — the governing standard for both Japanese and Korean OEM motorcycle sprocket profiles. Pitch, inner width, roller diameter, and plate height tolerances all conform to JIS B 1801. If your sprockets are designed for 428 or 520-series chains to JIS dimensions, our chains will fit correctly.
