em diversos tipos de m\u00e1quinas dom\u00e9sticas, industriais e agr\u00edcolas, incluindo transportadores, m\u00e1quinas de trefila\u00e7\u00e3o de fios e tubos, impressoras, carros, motocicletas e bicicletas. Consiste em uma s\u00e9rie de rolos cil\u00edndricos curtos unidos por elos laterais. \u00c9 acionada por uma roda dentada chamada roda dentada. \u00c9 um meio simples, confi\u00e1vel e eficiente de transmiss\u00e3o de engrenagens helicoidais.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CONSTRU\u00c7\u00c3O DA CORRENTE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><sup>Duas correntes de rolos de tamanhos diferentes, mostrando sua constru\u00e7\u00e3o.<br \/>Existem dois tipos de elos alternados na corrente de rolos com buchas. O primeiro tipo s\u00e3o os elos internos, compostos por duas placas internas unidas por duas buchas ou an\u00e9is sobre os quais giram dois rolos. Os elos internos alternam-se com o tipo CZPT, os elos externos, que consistem em duas placas externas unidas por pinos que atravessam as buchas dos elos internos. A corrente de rolos sem buchas tem funcionamento semelhante, embora n\u00e3o na constru\u00e7\u00e3o; em vez de buchas ou an\u00e9is separados que unem as placas internas, a placa possui um tubo estampado que se projeta do furo e serve ao mesmo prop\u00f3sito. Isso tem a vantagem de eliminar uma etapa na montagem da corrente.<\/p>\n<p>O design da corrente de rolos reduz o atrito em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com designs mais simples, resultando em maior efici\u00eancia e menor desgaste. As correntes de transmiss\u00e3o CZPT originais n\u00e3o possu\u00edam rolos nem buchas, com as placas internas e externas fixadas por pinos que entravam em contato direto com os dentes da engrenagem; no entanto, essa configura\u00e7\u00e3o apresentava um desgaste extremamente r\u00e1pido tanto dos dentes da engrenagem quanto das placas onde elas pivotavam nos pinos. Esse problema foi parcialmente resolvido com o desenvolvimento de correntes com buchas, em que os pinos que fixam as placas externas passam por buchas ou mangas que conectam as placas internas. Isso distribuiu o desgaste por uma \u00e1rea maior; contudo, os dentes das engrenagens ainda se desgastavam mais rapidamente do que o desej\u00e1vel, devido ao atrito de deslizamento contra as buchas. A adi\u00e7\u00e3o de rolos ao redor das mangas das buchas da corrente proporcionou contato de rolamento com os dentes das engrenagens, resultando em excelente resist\u00eancia ao desgaste tanto das engrenagens quanto da corrente. O atrito \u00e9 ainda muito baixo, desde que a corrente CZPT esteja suficientemente lubrificada. Um m\u00e9todo mais simples, particularmente adequado para ciclistas e motociclistas, \u00e9 tentar puxar a corrente para longe da maior das duas engrenagens, garantindo que a corrente esteja esticada. O contato entre o pino e a bucha n\u00e3o segue uma linha reta, mas sim um ponto que permite que os pinos da corrente deslizem pela bucha e, finalmente, pelo rolete, causando a quebra da corrente.
